Infrared Photography - Movie Vs Digital

I have actually been called a dinosaur. It occurred in a photography seminar a number of years ago when the instructor requested a program of hands from those still using movie. In fact, I was among 2 dinosaurs that he identified. Not an encouraging ratio for a class of about 20 people.

I believe that it would have been a much better film had the filmmaker focused more on telling the story and lesson the comic components which ended up being more of a diversion than an aspect of entertainment.

Image film making Quality. For catching black and white, movie is by far more detailed than in digital. This is due to the fact that of the single monochrome silver halide layer compared to the digital video camera's function which only desaturates the RGB created by the sensing unit. For colored, still film has the benefit as mentioned above dominating the resolution. However, we also need to consider the ISO.
